GMB - New Posts Feature - Bulk editing multiple locations

Hello all,

Have been exploring the new GMB features today. Posts are really fantastic ways of getting messages out in the knowledge graph.

My question is:

Is there any easy way or bulk alternative that users have in uploading posts and events to all business locatons. I work for a leading budget gym chain in the UK. We have seasonal offers occuring frequently across all of our clubs in many seasonal points throughout the year. Typically they last for 3 days each. Now, It's taken me over 4 hrs to update all of these offers (around 30 of them) and I'm almost crying.

The offer is the exactly the same nationwide - as with many big business chains.

I wish there was a way to bulk upload the posts events details.

Any advice please before I go insane?

Healthy regards

Hi @Liam D

I'm not aware such an option

But I consider it a very reasonable feature request - worth to bring it to Googles attention.

For my own reference:

a very reasonable FR for the new postings for Bulk...

@Liam D

I got a word back from Google:

They told me working on such options in early experiments. Chains interested in Posts can contact Google through this form.

Thank you, Helmut.

I'm in Japan and interested in this experiment.

Is this experiment available for non-English countries?

as far as I know the new post feature is actually restricted on countries with written languages "left-to-right" (LTR) only.

I'm conviced it will be available for countries not writing LTR soon.

But we didn't got from Google any ETA yet.

Thank you!

Since Japanese is LtR, I'd like to apply.

Looks like posts have been taken out of Knowledge graph on the Desktop and hidden under tabbed content on mobile.

That is a crying shame! A wasted opportunity :..... ( Is it a result of the EU stuff?

Ok interesting - I take my comment back! Posts reply on Freshness. They just disappear from KNowledge graph view after a couple of days. Not sure if this behaviour happens upon multipple views by a user - or if it's generic all round.brierley-hill-screenshot.JPG

Hi Ed,

There is no way to bulk this fully automatically. But we have somehow found a solution to do this faster and cheaper as we had the same problem for our clients. You can always contact me to make you an offer ;-).

thanks
