Hi,
So I am dealing with two problems, 1.) Connecting Google My business with the main Google+ page that our business is using. 2.) Deleting the duplicate location on Google Map

1. Full business name: Racepoint Global
2. Current business address: 53 State Street, Boston, MA 02109
3. Current telephone number: +1 617 624 3200
4. Google Maps URL:
http://bit.ly/2vkSBE0 (It sometimes shows up with the name Racepoint Global1, I am wondering how can I delete the "1" after our business name)
http://bit.ly/2xqxayE (This is the duplicate one)
5. Website (if applicable): http://racepointglobal.com/
6. Google+ Page:
http://bit.ly/2vCAwwD (This is the one we're using mainly and the one I would like to be connected with our Google My Business account)
http://bit.ly/2wWp6I2 (This is the one connected with our Google My Business account now)

Thanks in advance,
Serene

Ok, as far as G+ goes, you cannot merge an older brand page to a local listing (this used to be an option)

I suggest just using the new G+ page for your content. (It is attached tot he verified business - which is great for SEO)

For problem #2. If you have the listing you want in your GMB that is good, the other listing is unverified (duplicate) which is also good.

I have escalated this to Google so they can merge the duplicate for you.

Hi Ben,

Thanks for your suggestions, these are super helpful!

Do you have any suggestions about how should I deal with the G+ page (http://bit.ly/2vCAwwD) that is NOT attached to GMB? Should I delete it or just leave it there?

My ultimate goal is to have our business show up on Google's knowledge panel. I've heard that the information on GMB and Google+ affect a lot, hence I'd like to solve these issues. Also, we have several offices in U.S., UK and Asia, does that make any confusion to Google's search engine and prevent us from showing up on knowledge panel?

Any suggestions are welcome!

Thanks in advance,
Serene

You can safely leave it there if the KP is what you are after then you do want the local page.

You should definitely be updating your G+ page for all your locations (one G+ page GMB listing each).
