Business showing up incorrectly in 'Knowledge Graph'

1. Lazada

2. 3rd floor, Salustiana D. Ty Tower, 104 Paseo de Roxas, Makati, 1229 Metro Manila, Philippines

3. +63 2 795 8900 (company, not personal)

4. https://plus.google.com/+LazadaPhilippines/posts

Hi,

We have correctly filled in the 'Structured Data' markup for our website, as mentioned on this page: https://developers.google.com/structured-data/

Unfortunately Google provides the physical address of our company when searching for it, whereas we are an E-commerce company ("Lazada"); we don't want users to get confused and see our website as a local business (with a Maps location and with the Google + Reviews section, which are not great)

Is there any solution for this?

See below an example of what the results look like.

Thanks in advance,
Best,
Jon

@Jonathan P

Are you aware the local page you seem complaining about (plus.google.com/100378526756194741107) is a verified page?

This means somebody of the company or any rep created and verified it by a PIN?

I therefore have no good advice for you.

You can try contacting business support regarding the  verified page of oyur company.

The best way to get support:

Yes, I agree with @Helmut Geissler

If you are an eCommerce business you shouldn't have a Local G+ page which is what is appearing in the Knowledge Graph. Do you know where that page is claimed?

Thanks Helmut and Colan for the insights.

The Local Google+ pages are managed by us, and we actually use them for engagement and local advertisement -- is there a way to fix the Knowledge Graph without disabling the Local G+ pages?

Best,
Jon

I don't think this would be possible - I at least have no idea as to achieve it by you.

Hi Helmut, Colan

To follow up, we have BRAND pages (official ones, which we want to keep), and in the past we think someone, before our time, has created and verified LOCAL Google plus pages, which we want to get rid of, as, like you mention, we are an E-Commerce website, and shouldn't have LOCAL pages.

A list of our official BRAND google + pages, for your reference.
https://plus.google.com/+LazadaPhilippines/
https://plus.google.com/+LazadaThailand/
https://plus.google.com/+LazadaMalaysia/
https://plus.google.com/+LazadaIndonesia/
https://plus.google.com/+LazadaSg/
https://plus.google.com/+LazadaVnOfficial/

We have successfully gained ownership of this Lazada PH LOCAL page (and several other local G+ pages that have appeared over time), and have closed it, but unfortunately it still shows up in the search results Knowledge Graph

We have tried this url ("support.google.com/business/contactflow?hl=en") for support, for a similar issue for our Thai website, where I believe the Local G+ data was manually removed by a Google representative, but since recently it's appearing again; please see this cached post we made a few months back: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:dn_1Pkm-GAYJ:productforums.google.com/d/msg/bus... missing the replies)

We think the issue is that Google saves the data, even after the page is deleted (based on this source: https://support.google.com/business/answer/4569146?hl=en):
"Local pages
Local pages can follow the steps above to delete a page. When you delete a local page, Google may retain business information from that page, and may continue to show information about that business on Google, including marking the business as closed, moved, or open, depending on the information we have about the business."

Any idea on how we can stop appearing in the Search Results like this?
Your help is greatly appreciated,
Best,
Jon
