I was under the impression that on Google my Business, you add a Location if your business has a physical building, or a Brand page if you offer a service but don't have a customer facing building (e.g.

All my Locations appear on a Google search as a 'Knowledge Panel', but none of my Brand pages come up as a panel.

Does anyone know why this is?

Hi @Lucy W

Brand pages don't appear as a knowledge panel.

This is a knowledge graph and not created via a Brand page, rather information found on the web from authority sites, like : wiki, freebase, stock exchange etc etc.

The first step in sending the correct information to Google would be to make sure that you have all your organizations structured data on site, including marking up your social media channels.

Your site should also be attached to Google search console.

Then if that is all in place, when Google feels that your Brand / Organisation is authoritative enough, they will start displaying it in the Knowledge Graph
