Hi, I have a strange question.
A company offers different information in Bing places and Google my business.
Different phone, location and titles (Why?....I already said it was strange)

Does Google penalize this type of behavior?
Thank you

Hi @Outlandos d,

Bing gets their information from different sources, which is often outdated. They also make updating information harder on businesses with many listings hijacked by third-party providers (yp, yext, etc.).

With that said, you want all of your NAP (name, address, phone) to be completely the same across all of the web. Google is not paying much attention to Bing, so in regards to that... I wouldn't worry too much about titles and supplemental info.

None of this is anything to worry about with a "Google penalty" but has everything to do with smart marketing tactics, strong business operations and intelligent SEO (search engine optimization).

All the Best,

James
