What a mess!!!!  Headers have changed to no longer space words since last week, see here:  https://www.screencast.com/t/FgkVsxin

We've started using Data Studio have have quite a few reports to now mess around to try and get them to read correctly.

Why has this change been implemented?  Is this a bug of a permanent fixture?

Just makes reporting so much harder.

Regards

Richard

Hi Richard,

Sorry for the mess.

We enabled text wrapping in the table body and applied the same wrapping code to the headers. You weren't alone in not liking the result, so we've got new code coming to only break between characters when there are no appropriate word boundaries. That fix should be available soon.

Sorry for any inconvenience!

Best regards,

Rick

Hi Rick,

Many thanks for your reply, that's great there is a fix to solve this problem as at the moment its a real headache for us.

Is there any reason why the header text currently looks ok in FireFox but does not look ok in chrome?

Best regards

Richard

Hi Richard,

My understanding is that this is a CSS fix. Chrome and FireFox (and every other browser, it seems) implement CSS a little differently...

Best regards,

Rick
