Visitors NOT being counted

Visitor ✭ ✭ ✭

Visitor ✭ ✭ ✭

THank you for help, buddy!

So over a 1k people visit my website everyday, but according to Analytics, 20 yesterday (and only 5 today),

That obviously makes no sense, especially considering that AdSense is showing some earnings for both days – indicating that people are coming normally.

Thanks!

Hey max,

Don't look at today's data. Take a look at yesterday only, compare to the same day from last week in the date range tool, then go to Acquisition>>All Traffic>>Source/Medium. Change the sort criteria to absolute change and you should be able to see where your traffic drop is from (if you have one).

If organic, make sure you didn't accidentally change your robots.txt to exclude your site.

Best,

Hey Max,

I would start with the basics, make sure you have the tracking code deployed on every page of your site. Help me understand why you believe there is a problem with GA visit counts. From what system did you get the 1,000 visits?

My website is 2 years old, and I have never been this low even when it
started.

1k is my average, and even Analytics itself shows I've had 30k over the
month.

It started yesterday, out of nowhere, it shows this little!

I don't remember changing anything; I used WordPress, it has been connected
to Analytics since a long time (via Yoast, atm).
