Unable to view Data Studio in Internet Explorer

Hi all,

I've recently sent out a report sharing link and found that users are only presented with a blank page when using Internet Explorer 11. I tested it myself using normal Internet Explorer and InPrivate but both resulted in blank pages. Even logging into the Data Studio landing page doesn't work - page goes blank immediately after entering Google Account password.

I couldn't find any similar posts from searching here so apologies if this has been brought up before.

Mostly wanting to figure out if IE has worked in the past and this is a temporary issue or, if IE 11 isn't supported, whether Google has plans on adding IE compatibility.

Side question: has anyone figured out an easy way to turn a 5+ page report into one PDF file without an Adobe account? I have a feeling that's what I'll be asked to do if this IE issue persists...

Thanks in advance,

Mike

Bump.

I can't be the only one that has this issue... unless everyone here has completely abandoned IE Smiley Happy

Hi Mike,

We support Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, but unfortunately don't support IE.

Thanks Dave.

Are there any plans to bring support to IE and/or a timetable for doing so?

I'm sure there are many organizations similar to mine that limit most of their employees to IE due to security concerns(not an IT expert..), so any insight on future support would be really helpful.

Best,

Mike

I've experienced/replicated this issue. This may mean we have to abandon use of the product altogether as the vast majority of Government devices/systems are locked down to IE (in the UK at least).

This means that Data Studio would only really be available or useful to small specialist teams like the one I belong to. And our main purpose for such a tool, would be to share data reporting and insights with key stakeholders, c-suite etc, all of which will most likely have a locked down win machine with no Chrome, FF, Safari.

I second the question above - if/when will IE functionality be added?

It's all making sense. I guess I missed the disclaimer that was clearly posted. Add one more potential user that was made to suffer to support Google's agenda to attack Microsoft. Thanks for the wasting my time. And yes, I know it's only in beta.

Any plan to support IE?  I don't use IE but the majority of our company does as their preferred browser.  Thanks!

Hi Dave,

Tried accessing the shared Google Data studio link on Firefox however it doesn't work. Any thoughts regarding this?

Are there any plans to support IE? Common usage of a service like this would be within a corporation and it is not uncommon that the corporation is locked down to just one browser -- commonly IE. This unreal oversight makes this product essentially useless to a large population. What a shame.
