Hi Guys,

I saw you recently announced the ability to track visitors to Datastudio with Goole Analytics but couldn't find the report setting to input the tracking ID.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jamie

Hi,

Just go to File>Report settings it will open a panel on the right where you can set your data source and your tracking code.

Let me know if you can't find it.

Same here, and the info page on the feature turns up a 404 error.

Yes, it is possible in the Report Settings under "Google Analytics Tracking ID".

Samuel, you're saying it's supposed to pop up in the Right Pane after choosing "File > Report Settings"?

Don't see it for me, screen shot attached.

They have removed it from the release notesSmiley Happy  but it will be back soon since (drum roll...) it's already here and roll-out slowly.

Thanks Assaf, and I actually noticed earlier that the Tracking option is available in "some" of my reports but not all.

You could go to the datastudio and go "data source" and connect with your analytic account !
