I ran into the same situation and found that it was due to the table not being "tall" enough for the selected number of rows to be displayed.  

 

In Edit Mode try extending the height of the table to make sure the number of rows to display per page, for example 25, are clearly showing. Or reduce the number of Rows per Page until the Vertical Scroll bar no longer shows up.

 

The vertical scroll bar only appears if there are more rows in a Table "page" than can be fully shown on the screen.

We're not trying to get rid of the scroll bar.  We just want it not to cover the values while scrolling.  That or the ability to add padding to the entire table.

I had de same issue and I add other column with one metric false and with the width min...The scroll bar hide this last column and the problem is solved this last metric does not interest us
