Segmenting individual metrics/columsn in a table

Any work around to creating a case statement that segments a metric with dimensional data?

Wish to have a table with METRIC A, METRIC A segmented on Dimension X=Value Q, METRIC A segmented on Dimension X=Value Z

What's your data source? If it's Google Sheets, then it's probably easiest to do this as a new column in the Sheet. If it's GA, then a CASE statement is likely your best bet.

Doubleclick For Publishers - so there's no way to fiddle with anything before it reaches GDS.

You probably need a CASE statement then. Not my forte, but it's similar in concept to IF statements in excel.

Case statements in GDS have limitations that prevent what I'm attempting. (for now at least).
