Hi Folks,

Is it possible to create a calculated filed using two different data sources on the same report ?

If i add GA as data source, and another google sheet data source to the same report, can i calculate a custom ratio A/B where A comes from GA source, and B from the google sheet ?

Thanks in Advance.

No, calculated fields live within your data source (https://support.google.com/360suite/datastudio/answer/6299685?hl=en). In the meantime, one workaround would be to use the Google Analytics add-on for Google Sheets and add the column with the desired metric (A) into the google sheet with your other metric (B) and then create the calculated field within your existing Google Sheet data source. Hope this helps! Would love to hear if anyone else has a better workaround.

Thanks for your reply Ashley,

Actually no calculated fields are available within GA, but you can create them in data studio 360, here is a step by step tutorial :

My question is : can we create a calculated field using 2 sources (example : sessions (from GA) / Canceled orders (from googlr sheet))

Hi @Anass B

Unfortunately no, I don't believe you can make cross database joins or calculations at this moment in time - one for the future hopefully Smiley Happy
