Incorrect Transactions/Revenue data in Data Studio report

I have created a report with impressions, clicks, cost, revenue and transactions for AdWords traffic data using GA as the data source.

The impressions, clicks and cost all match up perfectly but the transactions and revenue are way off.

The report uses a custom "date" dimension (using the format YYYYMMDD) to create fiscal months and it also has a filter which filters based on AdWords account & campaign names.

Is it the date format which is causing the issues? Does it need to be in a different format maybe? It just seems weird that half of the metrics are spot on but the transactions/revenue are way off.

Thanks!

Hi Louis W,

Did you fix this issue? I'm having exactly the same problem and it's very annoying!

Cheers,

Adam

Hi Adam,

I too have the same problem. I tried using extra filters, but without any luck.
Have you figured out anything more by any chance?

Cheers,

Kevin

I've had similar issues. My ecommerce data coming from firebase is perfect but if I change the filter to in_app_purchases it's wrong. Frustrating to say the least.
