How to get most recent value from a data source?

I have a Google Sheet configured as a data source.  Column A in the sheet is a datestamp and column B is a metric.  Rows are added to the sheet automatically every five minutes.

I'd like to use the Scorecard widget to display the most most recent value, ie the last row in the sheet or the metric that corresponds to the max datestamp in the data set.  Is there a way to do this?

Thanks, Chris

I have the same issue. Did you find out how to do this?

Thanks, Jasper

I was trying to do this a while back but couldn't make it work with a scorecard. What I ended up doing is using a table. I pulled in the metric/dimension I wanted, sorted it so the most recent appeared on top, and then shrunk the table size down until only that first (most recent one) was visible. Not as pretty as a scorecard, but works until there's a better solution.

Thanks! I put the logic in the google sheet (vlookup or sumifs) so there is only one value to retrieve but I prefer your solution.
