How to convert multiple columns into 1 metric for Data Studio

Hi all,

I'm trying to build a monthly social report in data studio.

I have separate columns coming from automated reports

- Page Profile

- Date report is taken

- Fans

- Interactions

- Photo Posts

- Video Posts

- Link Posts

I am trying to create a chart which summaries how many of different types of posts a facebook profile is using.

I.e. so I could show that Red Bull in Feb publish 20% photo Posts 80% video posts, and 0% link posts.

Is there a way to do this? Do i need to create a new Dimension or a new Metric? The simplest solution i can think of is creating a pivot, then using that pivot table to feed the studio graphs... but I'd like to remove as many steps required and use the original data as it's formatted if possible.

Pivot table (google spreadsheet) is the best option for this kind of exercises.

Greetings! I mainly focus on UX or front end design. I haven't had a chance to explore the Data Studio beta, yet. Cheers!
