How do I make pages independent from each other regarding filter?

This drives me crazy....

I want different score cards on different pages. But no matter how I do it, I can’t use different filters on different score cards. There is no way I can break this connection. I have played around with page settings/report settings, disable inheritance etc. To no end...

For example:

On page 1 I want to measure pageviews on URL AAAA and on page 2 I want to measure the same on URL: BBBB.

On page 1, URL filter i set to "include page begins with /AAAA/.

On page 2, I want to set URL filter to "include page begins with /BBBB/

But if I do that the URL changes to BBB on oage 1 as well.

And there seem to be no way of breaking this link.

HELP!

I'm pretty sure there's a way to have the filter specifically apply to certain charts, but I haven't tried it yet. I did find this resource, hope it helps...

Hi Ulf,

You have to "create a new filter and called it something like "BBBB filter" and Apply it to page 2.

Be sure Page 1 is using the filter called AAAA filter.

This will solve your issue.

Thanks,
