Looking to be able to filter on a metric in Google data studio?
Is it possible?
For example, to filter on a metric that is greater than 1000?
That means only values greater than 1000 will be plotted on a chart.

Thank you,
Phil,

Metric filtering will be available "real soon now." Smiley Happy

Note that Will's suggestion to use CASE only works because the result will be a dimension, not a metric (so no aggregation), which may not be what you want.

Hi Phil,

You can add a filter to your chart - look towards the bottom of the data pane on the right hand side, you'll then be able to select the metric you want to filter on, for example 'transactions' and filter out >1000.

Hope that helps,

Ben

the pane only lets you filter on dimensions, (which afaik are all text). How do you filter on a numerical value?

I guess you can do something like:

case when my_field < 10 then 1 else 0 end

but this seems like a work around
