Google Analytics Tracking Facebook Instant Articles

Hello!

Since last week, Google Analytics has been reporting two separate URLs for the same article on our website. I know that one of the URL comes from Facebook Instant Articles, but we've been using Instant Articles for much longer than a week. Not sure if this is a bug on Google Analytics end or Facebook.

Here's the difference between the two URLs:

/content/how-reach-people-better-delivery-and-design-education-news

/content/how-reach-people-better-delivery-and-design-education-news?ia_share_url=https://news.virginia.edu/content/how-reach-people-better-delivery-and-design-education-news&ia_titl...

Any information would be helpful, thanks!

Hi Kelly,
Since there is a difference b/w two urls i.e one contains a ? and the other doesn't which is why GA shows them as two separate urls.

/content/how-reach-people-better-delivery-and-design-education-news
and
/content/how-reach-people-better-delivery-and-design-education-news?

hope this help

kind regards

Noman Karim
