Is there a way to check the amount of data you have used up in comparison to the total amount of data you are allotted in the free version of Google Analytics?

This is a great question, according to the information in the help section for Data Limits, there is a limit of 200,000 sessions per day and according to the Terms of Service "up to 10 million Hits per month per account".

It goes on to say "If the property's hit volume exceeds this limit, a warning may be displayed in the user interface and you may be prevented from accessing reports." So I guess to answer your question, you would have to track how many sessions per day your Google Analytics property is recieving or wait to get the warning message.
