Google Analytics Audience Building based on Date of purchase

Hello!

I want to build a set of audience in GA based on the date they performed a purchase. This audience will be used in remarketing campaigns in AdWords:

- Users who bought on Christmas 20-30/12/2016

- Users who bought on Summer 01/06-31/08/2016

How can I do this in analytics?

Thanks

Hi @sofiask,

You can try filtering the users in the date range first and then filter the transacted ones.
Something like below :                            (*It should be filter Users)

If you want separate audience, you can create 2 lists with the given conditions.
Also,If you are using goals or events instead of transaction you can replace that.

Hope this helps,
Thanks,
Ritwik

Hello @Ritwik B.

Thank you for your answer.

Not sure why it seems not working, in previous dates mostly. So in the below audience I am filtering dates Jan,1 - Jan31 (sessions) & users that converted (Goal Completion >0). I get the below filter, with 0 audience eligibility.

Segment1.PNG

When I apply the filters as segments in the reports, they work properly: converters for all time & dates again working properly.

Does this have to do with membership duration or lookback days?

Thank you

Hi @sofiask,

Thanks for the reply. I was not aware of this.
Membership duration is how long users would remain in the list. Lookback days is the timeframe to match the list criteria. These might not be the issue.

Check: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2611404?hl=en

           https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/3052703?hl=en

Its given that After creating a list, analytics populates the data upto 10 days.
I am not sure but I guess not before that.
So I am guessing it would not be possible for those months. (not sure though)

Thanks,
Ritwik B
