Just wondering if we have a confirmed ETA on that?
Is Q1 of 2017 still the expected deadline?
It would be awesome to have that feature.

Thanks!

Hi, I had a similar problem and I'm not sure if its already been mentioned by I managed to shortcut it by right clicking on the report/page and selecting print.

Do you have an ETA for this function yet?

Unfortunately, there is no solid ETA for data export.

Printing (or saving to PDF) is possible via the browser, although it is one page at a time.

Sorry for the unsatisfying answer.

Would be a huge win to have a way for google sheets to query a data source that lives in Data Studio in the same way a report can query data sources.

It would be particularly useful for us to use smart insights about our data to feed into financial projections.

I just tested this and it works great.

Just FYI for people coming after who try to us it

1. You don't click on the extension icon to print, it adds and actual
"Export to PDF" link right in Data Studio

2. It doesn't work fast. It basically automates what you would do manually,
paging through each report, printing and concatenating. It takes a while to
run (not forever, but maybe 90-120 seconds to generate my four-page
report). But when you're done, you have a single PDF just like you want. So
I just click Export, and then answer a couple of emails and come back and
it's ready.

This is a huge convenience improvement over my old process which was to
print each page individually, assemble then in Acrobat into one file, then
delete the individual files.

something I noticed is that I have a date field on the report that I have and I can usually just update the date on the report while I am in it and it will update the information in the report, when I use the export to PDF function it exports with the date on the report when I opened it and doesn't take in to account any changes made while in the report. For instance open the report and the last date I had in there is currently populated. Change the date and the information on the report repopulates correctly, hit pdf export and the date on the report still says the original date.
