Draw a line on time series

We are trying to create a simple burndown chart. On our time series graph, we output points as a metric and Month Day is a dimension (so one point on the graph for each day). Date range "Current week" is applied and everything looks great.

However, I can't find a way to add a theoretical line from max(points); on Monday to zero on Friday.

Help?

Hi Michael,

Are you talking about an arbitrary line from point A to point B? Or an actual trend line plotted from the data?

Data Studio supports the latter (select the type of trend line in the chart's STYLE properties tab for each data series).

We don't support a target line in time series charts, but bullet charts have always had a target, and as of today, bar charts as part of a table also support that.

Here's a link to the chart references section of the Help Center where you can find more info on trend lines.

Hope this helps!

It doesn't look like bar charts have a target line - where would I find that?
