Hi there,

Thanks for taking time to look into the question.

I dont see the Date Range dimension option under data sources for my report. Is it due to data not being represented in date format?

Thanks,

Prajwal

Hi Prajwal,

Yes you are correct - I had this issue but I did indeed have a 'date' field in my data, but it wasn't correctly recognised. If you do have a field which you feel should feed through as a date you might want to try going to your data setup and assigning it a date type, this may then make it work as expected for your visualisations.

Thanks a lot Ben, worked when I changed it to YYYDDMM format only.

Have a great day! Smiley Happy

Hello! I've seen you fixed an issue which seems similar to mine (posted here https://www.en.advertisercommunity.com/t5/Data-Studio/DataStudio-can-t-interpret-dates-properly/td-p...). Maybe you have a solution for my issue as well? Thanks a lot if you could help!
