Date Studio - Can I create a table with the date dimension on the X axis?

I would like to create a chart that has multiple metrics on the Y axis and date dimensions on the X axis (preferably on the top of the chart).  Is this possible?

Yep, just use the time series chart > add your metrics > go to style menu in right hand side bar > assign metrics to the left or right y-axis

I am not 100% on this but I think you have to create the table in a google doc and then use that google doc as a data source. I am not 100% sure at that point if you can create the graph from there (I have not tried it) but that would be your first step.

This would require pivoting the table which Data Studio does not yet support. You could visually create the same effect by stacking score cards in a vertical column. If the scorecard version is not good enough, you will need to create a table in Sheets, MySQL or Bigquery with the format you are looking for.
