Data Studio doesn't show correct Google Sheet data when RAND() is used

I am using a Google sheet as a data source where one of the columns contains a call to the RAND() function. When I create the Data Source and display the data in the visualization, the column with the random data displays some other value instead of the one that was present originally in the Google sheet. I suspect that the RAND() function is rerun internally and a new value generated whenever the sheet is uploaded as a Data Source in Studio.

I am using a Bar chart but the issue is present with other types of charts as well. The same issue is present with the RANDBETWEEN(x, y) function as well. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can shed some light on how Data Studio is processing the Google Sheet and if there is any workaround for this issue.

Thank you.
