Data Discrepancy - Total Users vs User broken down by Channel

I have noticed a discrepancy when I pull Analytics data into Data Studio. When I show the User filtered by the Channel the total Users add up to more than what Analytics says the total Users for the same time period was.

Anyone else noticing this or know why this could be?

Generally the user count includes some duplication. So users who show up on Organic Search AND Paid Search will count once in each channel but only once in the overall total. Is this what you are seeing or are you saying that the Organic Search total in Data Studio is not the same as the Organic Search total in Analytics?

Yes, that's what I'm seeing. I can't seem to be able to view the User breakdown in Analytics, just for New Users, so I can't see exactly where the duplication is but what you're saying makes sense. Thanks!
