Hi,

How can I create a comparison graphic with 2 lines of the same metric but different medium? For example, to compare traffic from organic vs traffic from paid search?

Thanks.

Regards,

You can create a Time Series line chart with a breakdown dimension set to Default Channel Grouping (Or Source, Medium whatever you want) and then set Sessions to your metric.

See screen shot attached.

Thank you very much! This is what I needed.

In adittion to the breakdown, is there any possibility to select the channels I want to show in the chart? I mean, I breakdown the data into channels, but I only want to display Paid Search, Display and Organic, for example? Is that possible?

Regards

Yes, if you look in the Data Pane at the very bottom you can add filters.  Simply setup a filter where Default Channel Grouping Contains Paid Display OR Display OR Organic etc.

Hi Mike,

But then, I only can display one of this channels and cannot have in the same chart 2 lines, one for Organic and another one for Paid, right?

Your filter dictates which lines will be in your chart.

So if you only want Paid and Organic, then you can apply a filter that says Default Channel Grouping Contains Paid or Organic.  And it will display only those 2.
