Calculating average reactions on fb page

Hi,

I have pulled out data from FB analytics and am trying to calculate the average reaction per day in the time period selected.

For example: If the total reactions are 480 for a period of 7 days then the average reaction per day should be 480/7.

How do I calculate this as the time period is dynamic.

Thanks

well, you can't create a dynamic calculated field who will return you the number of day depending your date range selected.

I'd love to know how to do an average amount per day/month/year. It would be very helpful to do automatically with GA data.

For Google Sheets (which is where I presume you're putting your FB data), you could use a workaround. Create a separate column that counts each date once (if the date is already counted, then count the duplicates as 0). Then, in DS, you can create a metric for reactions/days.

An example formula for the days = if(DateRow2=DateRow1,0,1). That way, it will just count the first instance of that date and not the rest. This will only work if your data is in chronological order.
