Adding a 'benchmark' or 'target' line to graphs

Hello, I have had a look around, and this may be a real simple one! But say I am importing a sessions or revenue graph from GA, and I want to include a 'target' line against each month. What is the best way to do this? Can I do this?

Hi @Jane C

You can't add a benchmark line as such currently, one way around this which I have used is to have one chart floating on top of another, where the one on top is your performance and the one below is your target. The target can be fed from a Google Sheets file so it's easy to update if required. I have done this with both bar and line graphs.

Hope that helps,

Ben

Hi @Ben P,

Thanks! Though I have tried adding a spreadsheet as a data source, and it doesn't seem to be working for me at the moment Smiley Sad
