If you use an up-time monitoring service for your website, you may want to exclude those crawlers so that data doesn’t get included in your Google Analytics reports. You can set up a view filter and specify the hostname for the services in a predefined filter. You can find the values that you need to specify in the filter using the Audience > Technology > Network > Hostname report. And don't forget to test this filter on a test view before applying it to your data.
