How do I filter out query parameters in my site URLs to better track pageviews for similar pages?

If you wish to track pages regardless of the query parameter in the URL, you can use the Exclude Query Parameter field in the View settings. Simply enter a comma-separated list of the query parameters you wish to remove and GA will strip them out of your data. Note that you only need to enter the name of the parameter, not the value itself.

If you don’t know the names of the parameters (or if they are constantly changing), you might consider an advanced  filter. An advanced filter will remove all query string parameters from your content reports no matter what they’re named.
