3.2. Analyze data by channel

Hello,

I have a problem and I have no patience anymore to deal with it on my own Smiley Happy

Concerning the excercise 1:

Under Acquisitions in the Channels report, using a Custom Segment for users that landed on an Android page, what is the Ecommerce conversion rate for users brought in by the Paid Search channel?

I am sure that I have created "custom segment" in correct way.

Then, I see on "Ecommerce conversion rate" below the tab "Paid Search" that e-commerce conversion rate is 6,52%.

[censored]? Anyone has the same issue? Somebody can tell me why or where I made a mistake?

Thank you!!!

Cat Happy

Hi!

I have the same problem. I tried to filter with "Users" and "Include", and the cpc. But I was not sure what it means by "an Android page". It's not about the OS or browser or keyword of content. How did you interpret it?

Thanks!

Hi,
I have the same question. The number I got is 2.4%.

I modified the Custom Segment by User ---> Page title contains Android.
Did I understand it correctly?

I just figured out the solution, you have to set Custom segment: User. ---> Landing page contains Android.

How did you set up your user segment?

I did it like this:

New segment -> Advanced -> Conditions -> Landing page contains android

However, I am not able to get any of the answer choices

Just like you, my numbers didn't match any of the answers until I changed the settings of the custom segment to "Users" "Include" --> "Landing Page" > "contains" > "android".

Once those changes are applied, the Ecommerce Conversion Rate (%) for Android Landing Page users brought in by the Paid Search channel, should match one of the answers available.

Hope this helps. Smiley Happy

Make sure your date is accurate, you want Feb 1, 2016 - Feb 29, 2016 to be your date. Then set up your custom segment of Advanced> Conditions> Filter> Users> Include>Landing Page>Contains>Android, which is saying in other words to find every landing page, or page a visitor enters your site that contains android to retrieve data only from.
