Where in the HTML of your webpage should you place Analytics tracking code?

Hi there,

In the first assessment quiz of "Introducing Analytics" there is a question asking " Where in the HTML of your webpage should you place Analytics tracking code?  I've listened to this lesson (with closed captioning on) and have yet heard where in the lesson the two hosts speak about this.  The assessment suggested I review Unit 1 Lesson 3, but I did and there is not information re: HTML.

Can someone please let me know what I'm missing here?

Thanks in advance!

Hi :-)
It is mentioned briefly in the video. Also highly recommended, is to use the additional learning materials/resources below the lesson videos (eg did you complete the click thru demonstration that is offered?)

Hi there,
I attempted to complete the click-through demonstration, but it abruptly
crashed 4 different times within the first lesson.
I will try again today. I just found it odd that an quiz covering the
immediate reading I just did would include questions that are not covered
in that material. I've been following each word diligently and taking
notes, so was confused when that questioned was given.

Thanks for getting back to me!

Best,

Daryl

Hi Daryl,

The videos of the course just gets you started off with the simple things. As Bronwyn V mentioned, it's highly recommended you go through the additional materials below the videos - there's a huge amount of learning you can get there. It helped me attempt the quizzes better after I had gone through them.
