Why do some of the entries in my reports show up as “(other)”?
Some dimensions have a naturally high “cardinality,” which is the number of values that can be assigned to it. For instance, the dimension of “Page” has a high cardinality because it could have a virtually unlimited amount of values, since each value represents a website URL. This could potentially exceed the Google Analytics capabilities to display all of those dimensions, so Analytics rolls it up under the dimension “other,” so it can include all of the data in that report that exceeds the dimension limits. For more information, please consult our Help Center article about “other” entries in reports.
