Using map coordinates instead of street address?

We have several Dealer operations setup around Ontario and just recently opened a permanent location in Ottawa. I have been struggling to get this location registered as a Google Business address because the location where we set up shop does not have a regular address.

We are located at the Rockcliffe Boathouse and Marina, which appears on google maps as The Boathouse Restaurant.

Is there a way we can set this up as a location without a street address? Can we use the coordinates

Nope any local business needs getting specified and verified through its
street address.

I guess we will have to get the city to give us a street address?! Yikes.

Not much else we can do?

The nearest mapped street would be Lisgar Rd, and the nearest address as far as I can tell is 500 Lisgar Road (which is the official address of the US Ambassador in Ottawa).

If you search on google maps, The Boathouse Restaurant appears on google maps and Lisgar Rd is right across the road.

The coordinates of the Boathouse appear to be "45°27'17.3"N 75°41'15.4"W"

Yes! That is the driveway to our location.

@Martin L

the best would be indeed to give this driveway this "Road" a name via MapMaker and using it then in GoogleMyBusiness.

(why not like "extention of Sir George-Étienne Cartier Parkway"??? )

The other option would be using "Sir George-Étienne Cartier Parkway, Ottawa, ON K1M, Canada" as your address but shifting the marker on the drive way.

I had no idea this was possible!

I checked out MapMaker and gave the "Road" a name (which is now pending- any idea how long it takes?) but I am concerned that it will not provide a postal code, which is required for a Google Business Location.

Any advice? I really appreciate all your help so far.

the postal ZIp shouldn't be the problem as GMaps knows for the entire area ON K1M as ZIP.

And yes any one can add names to an existent unnamed road.
The main problem is however that such naming needs approved by a Regional lead of Canada.
I approved for the "Rockcliffe Boathouse Drieway" your edit but unfortunately I'm an RL for Germany only.

Have no RL rights for Canada

And no

No other advise form my end
