Multiple locations with representation hosted by a parter?

Hello

I have emailed support on this but I can't wait weeks for an answer, so am posting this here. The answer is crucial for a client's business model.

Our client has a head office and works with multiple partners in the UK to sell its products. Some of the partner businesses have a dedicated showroom for the company's products. Others don't but are the local supplier.

We want to set up local Google listings for the local suppliers of this company's products. The local company might already have a local listing and we wish to add a separate local listing for a specific product. Or the local company might not have a local listing at all and we would add in one for this specific product.

Is this all ok? Does this work with the terms and conditions of this product?

Thanks

Maybe I misunderstood what you described.

But a general  information I would like to give you:

GoogleMyBusiness isn't for products.

It's for location of businesses.

A business is defined by its owner, its name, its address and (maybe several) location(s) at least.

Please refer to their Guidelines for representing your business on Google

Thanks. Well this is a business that has multiple locations through partners as I mentioned. So it has a Plymouth office or business there which represents it for example...

ok let's consider the Plymouth office representing the business of your client:

In case  our UK TC (its @Tim Capper) would go to Plymouth

What is he supposed to see at the store front of the office as theri business name?

So there would be a local listing for the UK business in Plymouth based at the Plymouth's businesses' location. The Plymouth business could also have a local listing for itself (for its own activities) but also a separate one for its representation (as a partner) of the main UK business. Or can one business location only have one local listing?

You avoided to answer my question

At any adress there can be several businesses with their brick and mortar offices.

But each business need  to have its own business name and must be staffed at the opening hours.

ok, thanks, I'm still not quite sure if this is possible or not. This would be a business within a business with it's address being the same as the main business but with a different business name. So two businesses in the same address and yes staffed...

for me: if at the entrance door of the building both businesses have clear signals and signs about being there its ok to have two business pages - otherwise not.
