Multiple Listings Suspended

We are a franchisor with several franchise locations across the southeast.  For brand compliance and consistence, we centrally manage the Google local page listings for each location.

We understand that Google does not permit UPS mail box address or other similar addresses to comply.  We have that adjusted for the few that had this.  We also understand that we should not add "of Atlanta" or "of Charlotte" to our brand name in any listings.

The issue is when we submit for an appeal of the suspension, we get back emails with no reference to which listing is being referred to in the email.

Does any one have any advice on how to get feedback per listing?  Does Google suspend all of your listings if one is non-compliant?  Thanks in advance.

Hi @Barry B

If they are not listing a specific URL, then my assumption would be the entire account.

What does the admin panel say ( are they all suspended ? )

What is the brand name, or send a suspended page URL, we can then perhaps help diagnose the problem.

Screenshot of the dashboard would also be good, to get an idea : https://business.google.com/manage/

I also received 8 emails this morning (no reference to what listings) in response to my appeals.  I noted in the appeals that we had removed "of Altanta" (example) from our listing name.  Also, we had some who use virtual offices and some who use UPS Store type addresses for business mail.

The hurdle with their recent request is that they suggested by phone that I use the home address of the franchise owner and it would be hidden publicly since the franchise locations are service area businesses.  The reason the franchise owners use virtual offices and UPS Store type addresses is so their home address is not publicly tied to their business.  So it's going to be tough for them to hav

It appears part of my last response was cut off.  I closed saying it's going to be tough to show their "home address" as their "business address" since the goal of having the virtual office or UPS store address is keep their home address from publicly being tied to their business.

Sorry for so many replies. The other piece is that franchisees in just about all franchise organizations set their business name as "Morris Services, LLC" or something of that nature. Most franchisors, including us, require that they can't put our trademarks name in their corporate name. Some will do theirs with a "dba 360clean" but not all.

Hi @Barry B

Its a [censored] that they dont list anything in the dashboard, thanks for the screen share.

Okay I think we have a selection of problems here and Yes the name of each business page should only be 360Clean

Addresses:

Regardless of virtual, ups or home address. If customers cannot make in person contact with 360Clean employee during stated business hours, because they are actually serviced businesses, then they should be marked as a serviced business.

When marked as a serviced business, it hides the full address, but leaves the area and state visible.

If they are all serviced businesses, which I assume they are, then you may as well use the home address ?

Duplicates:

Another reason that some may have been removed is because there are duplicates.

Birmingham one removed : https://plus.google.com/117087500369200651358/about

Duplicate Exists : https://plus.google.com/115803689050563322428/about

Svannah one removed: https://plus.google.com/107673565114415334415/about

Duplicate : https://plus.google.com/115716141526345892191/about

Murrels Inlet removed: https://plus.google.com/108675929702874135233/about

Duplicate: https://plus.google.com/104767920586553682452/about

Duplicate "ghost page" : https://plus.google.com/105855870921564362594/about

So it seems that there are a lot of duplicates floating around out there, that you need to locate.

In the case where one is removed and a duplicate exists. Delete the listing in your account that got removed for spam, then claim the duplicate, correct the name, serviced area etc, then request verification.
