Merge active My Business listing with "Disconnected?"

I have two My Business profiles listed under the same email address with one profile listed as verified, and the other listed as "disconnected." I would like to know if it's possible to merge the two accounts? The verified listing contains the customer reviews, but the disconnected profile has the archive of posts/photos etc.

I'm thinking about just deleting the disconnected profile since it would take more work to get it reactivated if it were an option. I think keeping reviews would be better in the long run?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi @angela w

In this case it would be best to call Google support via https://support.google.com/business/contactflow and ask for the unverified page (https://plus.google.com/u/0/100823092603856266167/posts) to be merged with the verified page as it is a duplicate listing.

I can't comment on the other three businesses as each case can be different and I do not wish to give out generic advice that may prove incorrect.

Regarding your reviews on the verified page I highly recommend replying to your reviews, particularly the negative ones, as customers often look at the company responses to negative reviews, before making purchasing decisions.

Hello Angela,

in order of that for me I would like to keep the one that get verify and get review because only verify page will be live on maps If you have 2 listings same as business you can delete the inactive one and remain keeps posts and photo as the same

Cheers

Hello,

Here's the "disconnected" account: https://plus.google.com/u/6/b/100823092603856266167/100823092603856266167/
This one is the verified account: https://plus.google.com/u/6/b/115708549907545417017/115708549907545417017

I have three businesses that reflect the same situation. Would it be easier to call Google to get these accounts merged? Thanks so much!

Hello Garfield,

Thank you for your insights. I know Google Plus pages are slowly losing authority and I understand reviews are what show in a Google Map search/knowledge graph, so keeping the active listing makes sense. You mention if I were to remove the inactive listing, the posts and photos will remain. How would I merge the two?

Thanks again!
