script error message on billing preferences page

I saw a thread for this on an old site but didn't see a solution... after completing the billing preferences page and hitting the continue button, there's a long pause and then an error message stating that a script is running causing the computer to run slow with an option to disable the script.  After disabling the script, nothing happens and I stay stuck on the page. 

 

I've tried switching browsers to Firefox, same response in a fancier box.  Any suggestions, or a pointer in the right direction?  Thanks, Lorna

Try clearing your cache and cookies.  You might also want to try Chrome or Explorer depending on what browsers you have already used.

Getting this script running message with every click on every machine we use adwords.

Cookies does not seem to be the fix
