Your account isn't active because you haven't entered your billing

I have this message on my new AdWords account: I am told my account is not active because I have not entered my billing information--but I have. My credit card is in my own name, valid, and not expired. I see many others have had this same problem: what is the solution, please?

Hi there,

 

This is a very common issue with the AdWords System. If you have entered the card details already, it does take a little while for the system to update it.

 

You may find the Red Warning Bar appearing on the top of your account ( with Message : Your account isn't active because you haven't entered your billing information.)

 

However, this is only seen when the changes made have not synced with the account. I advise you to wait for 24-48 hours and it should disappear itself.

 

Also, you can re-check if the details are updated correctly on the Billing Page of the account.

I received this message after posting an ad that somehow violated googles
policies. although they couldn't tell me exactly how I had violated the
policy, but basically the product I was advertising was not liked by Google
as people who had advertised it before had done some shady advertising with
it and Google had blacklisted it. Then I started getting this notice on my
account. I removed the ad and even cleared my account of all ads to try to
get this message removed. I've emailed and tried many things that's the
only way is to email them to try to get them to remove it. But they don't
respond or do anything. I guess the next thing to do is to make a new
account and try that out. I have not tried this yet I just have taken my
business elsewhere because they won't fix it even though I'm not violating
any policies as I have no ads up...
