Your account is suspended because your billing information can't ...

We verified the amount deposited, and spent about $150 on advertising with this account.

 

A few days ago, we received this message by email:

 

"While reviewing your account, we found violations of our AdWords policies in this or a related account. As a result, your account has unfortunately been suspended, and your ads will no longer run on Google.

 

For information on the terms associated with AdWords account use, please review our Terms and Conditions at: https://adwords.google.com/select/tsandcsfinder

 

If you believe that you meet all of our Terms and Conditions and want to make an appeal, fill out the following form: https://support.google.com/adwords/contact/pf_suspended

 

Please be aware that we can't process your request unless our Terms and Conditions are met.

 

We appreciate your cooperation.

 

Sincerely,
The Google AdWords Team"

 

However, when we I log into the account I see this message:

 

"Your account is suspended We've identified suspicious behavior in the payment activity of this or your other AdWords accounts. To help prevent any unauthorized activity, we suspended your AdWords accounts. Learn more "

 

and when I click the link it takes me to support.google.com/adwords, where this message is displayed:

 

"Your account is suspended because your billing information can't be verified. Learn more"

 

I've attempted to remove anything on the landing page, billing info and in the account that could possibly be in breach of the terms and conditions, and resubmit to google. I then got this by email:

 

"Thank you for your continued patience during this process. Our specialists have re-reviewed your accounts and have determined that our decision is correct and final. As a result, your account, and any related accounts you may have created, have been suspended.

 

NEXT STEPS

 

- Our support team is unable to provide any further information on this matter.

- Please refrain from creating additional AdWords accounts, as they will be subject to the same suspension.

 

The AdWords Terms and Conditions state that Google reserves the right to stop running any ads when deemed necessary.

So my question is: Is this a billing issue or does it have something to do with the landing page/account setup... and what can I do to fix it?? Robot surprised

I submitted via this form earlier, but received the last message I posted above... So, I'm hesitant to submit this form again until I can figure out what the issue is.

Hello Nick,

Your not the only one that is facing this weird issue

being an agency we too have faced similar problems, the billing suspension notifications has suddenly changed to "account is suspended We've identified suspicious behavior"

and even if you write to google via contact form you will get a typo ans just with a chnage of adwords official name at the end, i will suggest you to call google directly via some 3 party people

you can call google based on your country

Talk with the Google ads team from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday at 1-866-2GOOGLE

Unfortunately, when you call and enter your account number it directs you to support.google.com/adwords and hangs up.

And if you get through to talk to someone, they tell you they are unable to connect you with anyone who knows anything because your account is suspended (even for some issue with billing information? yes). And then they proceed to make guesses that don't make any sense as to why the account could be suspended.

with a suspended account, they only give you the option to email with a suspended account. And when you email, they direct you to square one:

https://support.google.com/adwords/contact/pf_suspended

I think the best option is to find a way to contact them directly, probably through a third party company.
