I made an ad campaign for a YouTube video on May 21st 2017.
The daily maximum spend was set to £5.00, however after a day of activating the campaign I was being charged in excess of the daily limit, about £45.51. I have since turned off the ad.
I wanted to know is there a way of being refunded the extra £40.51 that I was charged?
The system can over perform at times and if it goes beyond the daily budget by more than 20%, it will credit the amount back to the account at the end of the billing cycle. You are never charged more than your daily budget X 30.4 days, which is your monthly budget and what the system works from. You can read more about daily budgets here.
In some of our accounts we have seen over performance by hundreds of dollars and it does settle right out when the monthly billing cycle closes.
