Switch the payment option from automatic to manua

Hi,

 

I want to switch the payment option from automatic to manual, but, under the gear icon,  I don't have the Billing Preferences option (I'm using a My Client Center Account).

 

How do I do the switch? Thanks.

Hi Ramona,

I think you need to use consolidated billing option in MCC to manage billing.

Hi Nisal,

Thanks for you suggestions.

1. For the moment I have to use a standard billing, I can't use consolidated billing.
2. In my Billing settings, there is no possibility to edit payment, just ad a new form of payment ( enter details of a new CC).

If your account is new you don't have manual option available for some countries. The country list can be found on below link

Let us know if your country is not listed but still if you can make the changes Smiley Happy

Hi,

My country is Romania so it's not my case (I've checked the list when trying to find a solution on Adwords'Help page) and I already have another adwords account (for another website/company) on manual payment 809-211-6373, this is why I don't get it ...

Today I've made a payment in the account on automatic billing, paused the campaigns and tried to switch to manual. There is some balance amount that was not charged today, billed, I think, it's for what was spent today before pausing the campaign, I saw it know after payment confirmation. It's just a hunch a don't know...

I've paid what the amount on balance column and sth in advance, now I'll wait and see if I'll get the Edit Option in Billing Settings. I hope it would work this way... Otherwise I have no idea.

"If you're a My Client Center account-user and would like to switch a client account's payment option, you should sign in directly to the client's account. You won't be able to make the change if you access your client's account through your My Client Center account interface."

Well, I've even logged in with my client access data so nothing to do with MCC ( he also has Administrative access, same privileges as me) same problem ...

I've solved the problem, you need to contact adwords to do the switch to manual payment for you, if you contact them by chat it takes 2 minutes. ( your accounts' balance needs to be settled beforehand).

 

https://support.google.com/adwords/express/answer/1387865?hl=en&ref_topic=2466588: Before you can make the switch, you'll need to pay your account balance, as well as any additional costs from your account from the last seven days. This ensures that your ads keep running once you're on manual payments.

For example, if your current balance is $20 and your costs from the last seven days is $50, you'll need to make a payment of $70 in order to switch to manual payments.

After you've paid your current balance and the additional costs from the last seven days, contact AdWords Express support to complete the switching process.
