In Canada the only payment option is via credit card and some of our clients use prepaid, refillable credit cards. Would these works for adwords prepay option? Thank you.

According to this page If I select Canada it says that debit cards must have a Visa or MasterCard logo. There are some expanding text section that you can click on.

Just to make things clear , when you say prepaid credit card , I think you mean debit card , that is why I wrote about the debit card choice. Please note that there is always a choice to call Google to double check.

So here we have some credit cards that fill up before you use them. You put let's $1,000 in it and that is how much you have to spend. They are not directly linked to your bank account. People use them to get the benefits of credit cards without the risks.

Google accepts only debit cards or credit cards. Prepaid cards cannot be used (including those issued with a Visa / MasterCard logo)

Do you know where that is stated? I have found numerous examples of people saying that they have used prepaid credit cards without problem.

(edit : how can I choose to whom I am writing , the reply is default to the last person but my entire post is to the OP)

Thanks to Alexandre B for confirming what I initially answered, the payment options are the ones from the /AfpoFinder , after choosing the country and currency.

However to describe this clearly to the OP : The word "prepay" from that description designates an AdWords method of payment ( manual not automatic) not the type of card or how the money is refilled on the card ( Edit : I am not saying that anyone said otherwise, I am just trying to avoid a double meaning confusion for the word prepay )

The OP is refferring to this type of card : the prepaid card , it is a Banking product described in this link  http://www.mastercard.ca/prepaid-card.html

If we look in the next link to the right , where both credit cards and prepaid cards are described, we can read the description from the prepaid card from there it says "You can even use MasterCard Prepaid Cards wherever Debit MasterCard is accepted." .

That is why I wrote about the debit card option, I did a little research before answering (meaning that it wasn't easy to find the equivalence debit=prepaid) . Mastercard Canada describes on that page that "prepaid card" = "debit card" so it falls under the rules of the usage of debit cards for AdWords.
