Payment made Adds not running in Adwords Express anymore. Anyone else having this issue today.

I have used Adwords Express in Google places and today the funds are in $500.00 however no View activity at all. Is anybody having this issue. I rang the Live support and they can't understand what I am saying and won't refer me up. Asked for a refund they said no. What is going on with Google??????

I have found a page that lists possible reasons and solutions for this problem, here it is-

 

My ad doesn't show up in search results

 

Within this page there is a checklist of reasons to go through. There is also a link to the ad preview tool where you can preview how your ad looks to your potential customers. There are a few other links in this page with information that you may find helpful, but there is a contact link for help also should you decide there is an issue that you wish to discuss.

I have found the reason why however the support at adwords don't understand how to fix it. It's a total joke.

 

The problem is in Google Adwords Express. The campaign date has ended and it can't be changed from my end. I topped up the account to start it again and Adwords support said it will re start itself. Not the case though. Today I am in my office looking at no views again. Once again refund declind on an email sent from support today as they say its been running fine and serving adds great up to 23-04-2012. THATS BECAUSE THE BLOODY PROBLEM STARTED AFTER 23rd like I keep telling them. After they moved everything. Man I hope a professional company comes along to shake up Google because this is realy messing with my business.

Hi It's now Day 5. Moved up to technical department. May I make a suggestion?????? Would it not be a great system to show a timeline or simple flowchart to show when Technical will make contact so the client is not sitting blind. Is it going to be days, Weeks, Months before they make contact. How many people are in front... Not knowing anything is frustrating and yes unprofessional and makes the client fell unappreciated for all the thousands they have spent with Google. Just a suggestion...

Hi Salesenv, 

 

There are several reasons why your ads may not be serving even though you have made a payment. I have included the four most common reasons as stated on the AdWords Express Help Center: 

 

  • Billing: Check the Billing tab in your AdWords Express account for any billing errors that may have caused your ads to stop running. For example, your ad won’t run if you have a declined or expired credit card or if you’ve used all of the funds from your last payment.
  • Ad under review/disapproved: Newly submitted ads go under review per our advertising policies, and they won’t run until they are approved. Disapproved ads also won’t run, so check your email for disapproval messages for more information on how to resolve any issues. Be sure to check your Spam folder for disapproval messages.
  • Monthly budget: If your ad's monthly budget has been met, your ad won't run. You can check your budget in your Billing tab.
  • Limited budget: Your budget is spread out across an entire month, but your account spend varies each day. There may be days where your account spends less than usual, so your ad won't run.
  • AdWords: If you’re running both AdWords and AdWords Express ads and they’re matched to the same search phrases, both ads won’t be able to run at the same time. This is because we consider both your AdWords and AdWords Express ads to be from the same account, and we can only show one ad from the account for any given search.

Please check in your AdWords Express that your account is not affected by one thse four issues. If it is not, you can can always consult the AdWords Express Help Center at http://support.google.com/adwords/express/?hl=en or contact us by using the 'Contacting us' link at the bottom of the AdWords Express Help Center.

Hi Jeremy, Thanks for your post. I get a green tick for all those items. I have double checked them all. This issue somehow relates to the changes that were made by google recently or this red end date of the campaign. I have however placed another 2 new campaigns with approved adds and they don't start at all. THe console seems to be dead to anything I do. It was running great for many months with the only thing needed was account fund top ups. That was until 23rd

Another thing I have noticed is this. In adwords Express.... I start a new add campaign and the adwords Express lets me create a new add for this campaign however when I go into the main console and view my campaigns there is no add created at all to even run. You can't adjust anything in this console as its all accessed by Adwords team only and we have no access rights to it. It seems a total breakdown to me.

You are correct, you unable to edit any keywords or ads within the acutal AdWords interface. For the other concerns that you voiced, I can't further troubleshoot without taking a look in to the account. However, I can say there is normally a 3-4 week delay before AdWords Express ads can run on occasion.  Without looking into your account specifically, I cannot confirm this.
