I've taken over managing an ad campaign for a client.

He no longer wants payments to be automatic.

When I try and change the billing settings to "Manual" , I cannot because ...

Note:In order to switch to this option, you will need to make a payment.

My question is why ?

I just want to stop auto-payments, then reorganise the whole campaign.

Thanks

Greg

Hi Greg,

The fastest and the best way to sort out Billing Issues is to contact AdWords Support. They are extremely helpful in this case and would know best procedures to follow.http://support.google.com/adwords/?hl=en

Hello Greg,

To be specific, in order to change from automatic to manual payments, you will have to pay the account balance & additional clicks cost which you accrued for last 7 days. Google does this in order to make sure that your ad delivery is not altered while switching from one payment method to another.

After paying that cost, you will have to get in touch with Adwords support to complete the process.

Hope that helps!
