I want to redeem a promotional code for my new account, but the option doesn't exist anymore.

I want to redeem a promotional code for my new account, but the option isn't allowed for accounts with a billing address in Spain.  I recently changed the payment method from a Credit Card based in Europe to one in the United States, but I still can't use the promotional code.  Do I need to create a new account withing the United States?

I see that I need to update the country on my account.  As I am an international customer, this is not a problem (I do business all over the world).  How can I change the country setting for my account?

Hello BILLinBCN;

I would urge you not to "play  with locations and promotional  codes.

Promo codes a  territory dependent. (Based on the account's  owner address)

Do not try to redeem coupons from other territories. Your account might be suspended.

Is it within the accepted terms to create a second account from my US business address, but that promotes the same website. Then I could use the promotional code as intended.

No. That would be a serious violation of the double serving clause. (One account - one business)

Thanks.  Looks like I need to cancel my Euroopean account and reopen it with a US address.  Ho-hum.

HI BILLinBCN,

 

to redeem a promotional code after starting your campaigns you have to go to the Billing / Transaction tab and open the More options.

There you will find the option to redeem a code if your account is not older than 14 days
