Hi Thahseer,

Google AdWords billed according to your bidding method (CPC). Please find below the details of actual CPC, Budget with example.

Actual CPC bidding

Your actual cost-per-click (actual CPC) is the final amount you're charged for a click. You're often charged less -- sometimes much less -- than your maximum cost-per-click (max. CPC) bid, which is the most you'll typically be charged for a click.

Actual CPC is often less than max. CPC because with the AdWords auction, the most you'll pay is what's minimally required to hold your ad position and any ad formats shown with your ad.

Example:- CPC campaign

If have setup a campaign with Daily Budget $100 and set Max Bid 0.25 cent (this amount which you willing to pay max on each keywords). Your actual Avg. CPC is 0.17 cent and If you received 200 clicks in a day then you will charged $34 for that campaign.

If you want to know more about AdWords Basic then please find below the links of Help Center.

I hope this will help you.

Thanks,

Anand

Hi Thahseer,

Q - How the avg.CPC calculated?

Answer: -The average amount that you've been charged for a click on your ad. Average CPC is calculated by dividing the total cost of your clicks by the total number of clicks.

Q - Whether can i see the avg CPC while am preparing for the campaign?

Answer: - Once you will prepare the campaign then you can see the Avg. CPC tab on the Campaign dashboard and when your campaign received impress, clicks, cost, then you will see Avg. CPC also. Please find below the Campaign screenshot.

Hi Thahseer,

May be or May not be. This situation always happen as per below example:-

Avg. CPC always lower than Max CPC but some time if your keywords Quality Score is not good in terms of

Text Ads Relevancy
Landing Page Relevancy
CTR etc.
then might be you will charge (your Avg. CPC) more than you Max CPC. I will recommend to create more relevanc Text Ads including keywords in your ads. Create More relevant landing page.

Please find below the URL for how to improve Quality Score for improve your campaign performance:-
