Handing over the billing authority to another person and credit card

When I retire, I'll need to hand over the Adwords billing authority to another person and get  their credit card authorized as the payment method. How to do it?

Hi Sue,
The easiest way to do this is to add them/invite them to share your account as an administrator. I assume administrator access will be fine if they're paying the bills? The administrator can then update the billing information with their own card amd details.

However, if you are on an invoicing agreement with Google, things will be a little trickier.

Hi Sue,

As Dave mentioned you can simply add a new user to the AdWords account and decide on a certain date when they will take over the account. They can then add their credit card as the primary form of payment, and you can remove yours.

There is no requirement for Google Support to be involved in this as it is a change between third party credit cards, and not an invoicing agreement with Google. Also, the Support Representatives are not authorized to enter credit card details on behalf of advertiser for legal reasons.

Hope this helps!
