Google messes with payments yet again

Google messes with payments again and the calls made to the call center go to drain as usual. Payments made on 10th and 11th are not appearing and the ads stopped running.

I fail to understand why Google disgustingly messes up with payments and pesters its customers.

This is pracriced by Google atleast 4 times in an year. What kind of sadism is this?

Hello Aryan,

It's unfortunate if the payments are not reflected.

I am not sure what payment method you are using and in which currency are you making the payments. Sometimes, there is a defined delay depending upon the country where you are advertising and which payment method you are using.

I don't know if you are an Indian customer, but there is an expected delay of 6-7 days for Indian customers, who make payments using DirecPay. See this for details.

Just a thought!

Pankaj

Hi Aryan,

As a special gesture to our Community users and also since yuou said it happened 4 times, I'm escalating your case to a  billing specialist - you should hear an update soon.

Best,

Mini

I don't think this is happening with just one account. I reckon it is happening for almost all Indian accounts (except may be for those who are on monthly invoicing). We transferred money last Saturday and are still seeing "Your prepaid account is exhausted" message.

The best part is that when you ring the support, they play a pre-recorded message which says something like, "Yes. we know you are calling for checking your Netbanking transfer status. We have no idea where your money is" politely.

In the last 3 months, I'd have had the same problem at least thrice.

I find it laughable that in this forum, somebody "jumps in" and "escalates" a specific customer query on this when Google openly acknowledges that it has a problem (but still hasn't solved it, 3rd day running).

Seriously! Pre-recorded messages???
